Photography and filmmaking runs in the family. In the 70s my father dabbled in photography and then Both me and my brother started our photography journey around -00. Actually we both even learned it with the help of our dad’s old Konica Autoreflex T3, a camera we of course still keep close.
My brother however went around the world photographing and ended up settling down in Paris so I don’t see him much. But when I do, photography is a topic that quickly comes up. This Christmas he visited me in Stockholm and wanted me to film him for a short project. I liked the material I got so I also edited together a short music video of sorts. I don’t think his is published yet but it is super fun to see what two different photographers with two different eyes do with the exact same material, because our videos aren’t similar at all.
Editing is surely an art.
